History/Bio:
I am from Virginia Beach, VA.(757) My mother raised me, my brother (Ryan- 18yrs), and my sister (Stephanie-20yrs) the best she knew how. My mother worked extremely hard to provide for our family. When I was 16 years old my mom died. The three of us had to move in with our Uncle and Aunt to start a new life. Me, my sister, and my brother were devastated by our mom's death. I really started to question the purpose and meaning of life. However, I could find no answers. By God's sovereign plan my Uncle and Aunt started taking us to church. Through this church we had the opportunity to go to Snowbird Wilderness Outfitters. For the first time in my life I clearly heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and I accepted Christ that week I attended Snowbird. Shortly after, my sister and brother accepted Christ. I struggled through high school attempting to live the life of a believer. After high school I attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. where I really started to take ownership of my faith and actively pursue an intimate relationship with Christ. During my time at Liberty I worked at Snowbird for the summer. I worked the summers of 03 and 04 and then eventually left Lynchburg to work full time at Snowbird. I have worked as a full time staff member since March, 2006. While at Snowbird I have really grown close to Christ and I am trying to conform to his image daily. Since being here I have learned so much about community, sharing my faith, and intimacy with Christ. I am so thankful for how God has brought me along this road of sanctification.
About the Mission:
Destination: London, England
My mom was born in England and moved to the U.S when her mother married an American. So, my mom's side of the family lives in England. I have been to England with my grandma many times to visit my family members. I love England! As a believer, I have felt the calling to go to England and share Christ with my family, but I have waited for God's plan and exact timing. God has given me and Josh(my co-worker and trip partner) the means to begin this trip. Snowbird is going to be our sending agency. We will be accountable to Snowbird, each other, and a local church in England. We want to learn the culture and be a part of our community. Short term: we want to get involved locally and start to share Christ with people by experiencing life with them. Long term: we want to be part of a small group that focuses on community and discipleship. Overall purpose: Share Christ with our words and our lives everyday.

Supporting This Mission
We really need help prior to our departure and while we are living in England. We need help with visas, jobs, plane tickets, and selling personal belongings, etc. We also need help with accountability, fighting homesickness, desiring community, etc. We just want people to support our trip in anyway possible.
